Cancellation policy
Some items at Rooted Human may be offered as a subscription or as a pre-order. This policy explains how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.
Subscriptions
When you take out a subscription, you receive repeat deliveries at the frequency you choose at checkout, for example every 30 or 60 days. Your payment details are stored securely with our payment provider and you are charged automatically for each delivery on its scheduled date, unless you have chosen to pay upfront for a fixed term.
Subscriptions continue until you cancel them. We will email you before any upcoming charge so you can make changes in good time. You can manage your subscription at any time using the link in your order confirmation or shipping emails, where you can:
- Skip an upcoming delivery
- Change the delivery date or frequency
- Swap the product or quantity
- Update your address or payment details
- Pause or cancel your subscription
To avoid being charged for your next order, please make any changes at least 24 hours before its scheduled dispatch date. If you have already been charged for an order that has not yet been dispatched, contact us at admin@rootedhuman.co.uk and we will do our best to stop it leaving the warehouse.
Cancelling your subscription stops all future deliveries and charges, but does not automatically refund deliveries you have already received. Returns of subscription orders are handled the same way as any other order under our Returns and Refunds Policy: items must be unopened with seals intact, and refunds are not available for items that have been opened.
Pre-orders
From time to time we offer pre-orders on new or restocking products. A pre-order lets you reserve an item that is not yet available to ship. Depending on the product, we may take full payment, a partial deposit, or no payment at checkout, and charge the remainder when your order is ready to dispatch. The exact terms will be shown clearly on the product page before you check out.
Pre-order delivery dates are estimates and may shift if we run into supply or production delays. If a date moves significantly, we will email you with the new estimate and you can choose to wait or cancel for a full refund.
You can cancel a pre-order at any time before it has been dispatched by emailing admin@rootedhuman.co.uk, and we will refund any payment or deposit you have made. Once your pre-order has been dispatched, it is treated as a normal order and our Returns and Refunds Policy applies.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer, including your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because our products are sealed food supplements that are not suitable for return once unsealed, the right to cancel does not apply to items that have been opened. Unopened items can be returned within 14 days of delivery in line with our Returns and Refunds Policy.
